近年来，世界各地的城市人口中开始流行起一种叫“冷狂欢Idle Obsession”的传染性心理疾病—表现为间歇性空虚/狂热、亢奋/无力、瘙痒/快慰等强迫式心理的行为特征。患者常常被虚拟世界吞没神经，无法自拔，而又反复被沉重的肉身拖回现实，从而撕裂感缠身。研究表明，滋生“冷狂欢”这种数字病原体的温床恰恰是人们认识失调的现实世界观。病症的爆发，难道是现实与虚拟世界合谋的诡计？

跨媒体表演《非典型感染》受邀艺术家吴珏辉，于《艺术家的硬盘》展览中呈现。作品借助空间、影像、灯光、声音、身体互动等方式将K11艺术村的实体展厅虚拟化。在“冷狂欢”病毒传播的同时，《非典型感染》现场也正在成为新一代病原体的培育室。

In recent years, an infectious psychological disease called Idle Obsession has become popular among urban populations around the world - which manifested as some compulsive psychological behaviors such as intermittent emptiness/mania, hyperactivity/powerlessness, itching/comfort. The nerve of patients is often swallowed by the virtual world without any chance of escaping, while patients are repeatedly dragged back to the reality by their physical bodies thereby intertwining with the sense of being torn up. Studies have shown that the hotbed for breeding the digital pathogen Idle Obsession is precisely the world view of people’s cognitive dissonance.   Is the outbreak of illness a trick of collusion between the reality and the virtual world?

The multimedia performance ‘Atypical Infection’ was invited by artist Wu Juehui and presented in the exhibition ‘Artist's Hard Disk’. The work transforms the physical exhibition hall of K11 Art Village into a virtual one with the mediums of space, video, light, sound and physical interaction.
